Sales Manager (m/f/d)

To support our team in the center of Berlin we are currently looking for a skilled and motivated sales manager (all genders) in full-time. You will build up, run and oversee the sales activities of one digital products and take care of key customers. It the time allows, you will support our next revenue generating operation in India.

Who we're looking for

Tasks

  • Lead sales activities and drive revenue according to defined targets
  • Test business assumptions with customers and partners, providing feedback to the management and product development team
  • Actively approach and attract new key customers
  • Accompany new clients from deal closing to technical support
  • Support the creation and optimization of material and activities to gain new customers
  • Help establishing the company in a new and attractive market
  • Work often remotely in a team that is placed in different locations
  • Work with our leadership team to drive strategic business planning and prioritization

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of applicable sales, account, or key account management experience gained in a B2B environment - preferable in startups
  • BA/BS degree from a credible university. MBA and/or Degree in Psychology a plus
  • Willing to deep dive into the agricultural value chain and its stakeholders, knowledge about this market or the markets of data is a plus
  • Intrinsic motivation to find out the pain points and perspectives of our user group - smallholder farmers - as well as our business partners - retail shops, commodity trading, insurances, banks, governments, etc.
  • Having a technical understanding (API, DNN, mobile applications) and being able to translate technical advantages to less tech-savvy stakeholders
  • Analytical strength in combination with humility and patience
  • Be a flexible and skilled multi-tasker with a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly shifting environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent English is a must
